The location of this unit is fabulous. We were right on the beach. We spent some mornings walking the beach then up to the unit for lunch followed by an afternoon under an umbrella listening and watching the waves. The unit was well stocked. Coffee maker is hybrid so it takes K-cups as well as grounds. The kitchen had everything we needed and was clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the early morning watching the sun rise. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was appreciated. Perdido Skye has an exercise room they we used daily. It’s small but never crowded- we were usually the only ones in there. If you like hiking be sure to visit Gulf Shore State Park and Bon Secour wildlife Refuge. Both places have nice trails. We’ll be back next year!

Perfect place to be!

Loved our time away in the Gulf and our stay here in Perdido! The room is just as advertised and was a perfect home away from home. Clean, comfortable and I don’t know how the balcony view could have been any better! Every morning we saw dolphins out front~ and it is so peaceful. Even driving down the gulf into AL, everything is a slower pace and it was all so relaxing. Highly recommend! ***we had the possibility of travel delays getting home due to an upcoming winter storm and Autumn was wonderful at trying to help us out on finding a place for an extended stay. We did make it back, but really appreciated the effort she put in to help us out!**

Cozy, quiet and comfortable

This unit was just what we needed for our 30th anniversary. Great view of the gulf from the balcony – and from the front room. In the fall, sunrises and sunsets are both in view. Bed was quiet and comfortable. Kitchen had all the right gear needed for vacation meals for those times we didn’t go out to a restaurant.

The location could not be better! The view from the corner balcony and pool are unbeatable. We loved that the beach, roads, restaurants were never crowded (especially by beach standards). It doesn’t have a touristy feel at all. Instead we felt at home (in the condo and town) but the view was better! The condo is just as described maybe even better. Everything that I ever use to cook was provided and in great shape. The communication from property manager was prompt and to the point. We wouldn’t change a thing! Can’t wait to book a return trip!

The Best Vacation yet!

We had the best vacation yet since traveling to the area. The beaches were perfect and the view was stunning. We were able to go visit Pensacola, Orange Beach and Gulf Shores to look around. The condo was perfect. I had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable, place was clean, and it was truly perfect. The morning we left we saw several dolphins swimming close to the shore. We will definitely come back.

Condo was as described. I’ve visited this building and the one next door several times. These buildings are low rise and the beach area by this condo is not as congested as the higher rise ones a few buildings down. Shopping and restaurants are a short drive away. We were very happy with our stay. Kitchen was stocked for what we needed. The bunks are a little short for teens. The only recommendation is to supply hand towels in the bathroom. The towels are nice and plush but there were only towels and wash rags. There weren’t any hand towels. Our family agreed we would be back.

This property is amazing and the views of the ocean are great!! The balcony is spacious & we spent a lot of time on it! The king beds are comfortable and the master bathroom is awesome!! If you use the oven, start preheating like an hour before you want to cook, but no biggie. The flow of this condo is one of the best we have stayed in!! The owner is awesome and I hate we bugged her with some stupid questions. you are close to grocery stores, gas stations and some nice places to eat. Would definitely recommend!!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Perdido Skye! The condo is a great value for the price and perfect for a single family or a few friends. The appliances are all functional and some of them are quite new. The only complaint we had was that the balcony door was heavy and very difficult to open. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Perfect location with a beautiful view!

We stayed for 3 nights before heading to Legoland and wish we could’ve stayed longer. This location is perfect for families with younger children and calmer compared to orange beach, pensacola, and destin. Communication with Autumn is great and she is quick to respond, we got locked out by the keyless entry after a trip to the store and she answered the first time to get us back into the condo. It is a 30 minute drive to downtown Pensacola and everything in Orange Beach is right down the road. The complex is smaller which I loved and the beach was not crowded so plenty of space to spread out and setup your canopy/tent. Bringing a good sturdy wagon was a life saver for lugging all of our beach stuff as there are some stairs at the end of the ramp to the beach. There is wifi and cable TV both in the living room and bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised to find a stereo WITH a CD player and will be bringing my CDs to fire up for next time 🙂 The pool is basic and was not heated for our stay so a little chilly but it was perfect to take a break from the beach. The condo was the perfect size for myself, husband and 3 year old. The living room wasn’t crowded and had enough space to spread out. The balcony has a beautiful view and is also spacious with a small table for two to eat and play cards and two extra lounge chairs to soak in the view. Bath towels and toilet paper (2 rolls) were provided but I would bring extra for longer stays. It was super convenient to be able to do laundry and there was laundry detergent above the dryer but I would suggest bringing your own and also extra trash bags (I’m glad we did because you are only provided with 2), a dish sponge (not provided) and extra paper towels (one roll provided). My only negative with the condo would be the sliding glass balcony door, we were almost locked out as the door got stuck and it is very difficult to open. It took us about 15 minutes to wrestle with the door. Overall we enjoyed our stay and this was the best condo I’ve booked so far when looking for something for just the 3 of us, I only wish the unit was bigger for the rest of our extended family. I will definitely book again for future trips to perdido!

Million dollar view of the Gulf

The place was great. Very clean. Only thing is the stove takes forever to heat up and the sink in the master bath doesn’t drain well and the pullout couch isn’t very comfortable but overall the place was great and would definitely stay there again. We also went during spring break and there were a good handful of college spring breakers that took over the hot tub every night but there wasn’t an overwhelming number of college students so it still felt quiet and family oriented.

This property is exactly as advertised!!! Unit was extremely clean and the views awesome!! Mr. Howell is very easily contacted and very quick to reply to any message sent!! My only complaint would be the bed. I found it to be extremely soft for my liking, but this may be exactly to others liking. The area is perfect if you are looking for a “slower” beach trip. None of the hustle bustle of resort towns or areas, just the beach!!! Low key and peaceful!!! Will definitely stay again!!! Thanks Mr. Howell for allowing us the use of your unit!! This was by far the best vacation, sitting on the balcony listening to the waves in the early morning with a cup of coffee watching the sunrise, close to shopping and restaurants. This is our second time renting this condo and it won’t be our last. Short walk down the stairs and out to the beach. We like the location because it’s more low key than the other beaches in the area. A swim in the pool after sunning at the beach is a great way to end the day. There are several restaurants within walking distance. We will be back next summer!

Condo was in great shape, very clean & you can tell that it is well cared for. There was plenty of room for our family of four. This place was great! Several other rooms having construction work done but didn’t know they were there unless meeting them on the walk in/out. Great location! Beach access right there at your door!
